Case Study: My Mitsubishi Connect Owner Portal

Overview

My Mitsubishi Connect offers remote operations and control for the 2018 and 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. There was an opportunity to update and overhaul the web-based My Mitsubishi Connect Owner Portal app by improving the user experience and bringing the design into alignment with a recent brand refresh.

Site requirements and metrics

Working with Mitsubishi Europe and Aeris development teams, a wireframe of the existing owner portal was created to map current functions. Variant wireframes were created to identify ways to optimize remote operations, vehicle selection, understand vehicle health and purchase of subscription packages.

Once user flows and wireframes were approved, visual design commenced for web based desktop and mobile look-and-feel.

Result

A successful launch aligned to revised Mitsubishi brand, with streamlined purchase pipeline and links to FAQ and Support have helped optimize support requests. Ongoing adjustments based on user feedback and support tickets.
